Born in Dunedin, ADInstruments is an international company the develops data acquisition and analysis systems for the life sciences industry. Its headquarters is in the former Donald Reid Building and has more than 170 staff worldwide. ADInstruments voted a finalist in Kenexa/JRA Top 10 Best Place to work four years and voted number one place to work in the life sciences industry in 2012 by The Scientist Magazine.

Taste Nature at 131 High Street, is organic food store, eatery and kitchen and a community hub for all things organic in Dunedin. It is locally owned by Mark and Rayna Dickson who also have a garden in Waitati which supplies the store, alongside produce and wholefoods from New Zealand suppliers. Their ethos on minimising packaging helped them win this years “Keep Dunedin Beautiful – Waste Minimisation Award”.
Van Brandenburg Architects
Van Brandenburg Architects are designing a 75,000sq m fashion house worth hundreds of millions of dollars for Chinese fashion label Marisfrolg. The project includes designing a 4.8ha of gardens, a boutique hotel, catwalk, factory, water features and a 35m-high lotus leaf tower - mainly made of stone and glass.
